Adorable, little cabin with a great view. Easy access to Gatlinburg (~15 min drive) and National Park (~20 min drive). Hot tub was clean and hot! We saw bears twice on the property. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at the MoonDancer Chalet! The sunrise view in the morning is ridiculously beautiful from the deck and my whole family enjoyed the hot tub. We saw over a dozen black bears during our four days and I'm thankful we got the tip to lock our car doors (there were bear prints on our door handles in the morning)! This stay also includes access to different swimming pools, one of which was just a two-minute drive away. It was a great way to beat the summer heat. Access to Gatlinburg is easy, but I enjoyed that we could bypass the city traffic and head straight to the National Park. Pro tip: Depending on your car situation. I highly recommend taking Ski Mountain Road all the way up and then making your way to the cabin. Google Maps had us drive up a series of steep inclined roads that were enough to make our hearts skip a few beats. Once we started driving the main road all the way up, it was a much better driving experience.

We really felt like we were in the mountains. Unbelievable views, great cabin. Close and lock your vehicle doors every single time you get out of it because of the bears.

We stayed 4 nights for my wife’s 40th with our two kids (age 5 & 2) — and by far, the chalet was the highlight of our trip. The place is spacious on the inside (and super clean) and the incredible wraparound balcony was a treat. We even saw bears right below us several times. Very cool! Thanks to Luanda for being a great host!

We had a wonderful stay up in the mountains with our family of 5. We enjoyed the hot tub on rainy days and after a few days of hiking! The beds are super comfortable and only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was very clean and cozy!

MoonDancer Chalet was perfect for our family stay. Sitting up on the mountain it was in a quiet spot with a fantastic view! The place was clean with an abundance of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view, one evening a mama bear and her three cubs walk right under us. Highly recommend this place for your next trip.

We had a wondeful time at this gorgeous cabin! The hot tub view is beautiful day and night! We loved watching the tram from the deck. The cabin was clean and well cared for. Our daughter was determined to see a bear just once during our stay ... she had given up hope when my husband woke up in the middle of the night our last night their realizing he had left the car unlocked... he went outside to discover the bear had gotten into our vehicle and opened the center console fridge and helped himseld to several cheesesticks! We woke up the kids and watched our new buddy from the balcony. He eventually wondered off and we were left with a hilarious memory and lesson learned: LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS! Ty for a great weekend!

This is one of my favorite places we’ve stayed! The view is unbelievable. It snowed while we were there and we spent a whole day just watching movies, playing family games, and looking at the scenery. The beds were very comfortable too, which you don’t always find. Everything was well stocked and thoughtful. The perfect getaway with lots to enjoy.
